What to expect

The Women in Tech Hackathon is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with like-minded professionals and contribute to the advancement of the agriculture sector in Ethiopia. Here’s what you can expect from the hackathon:

Collaborative Environment
You will be working in teams with other passionate women who share your interests in agriculture, digital technology, business, or female empowerment. The hackathon encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
Problem solving
 The hackathon focuses on addressing critical challenges in the agriculture sector. You will have the opportunity to dive deep into specific problems related to post-harvest loss, food insecurity, irrigation, mechanisation, finance, input delivery, and e-commerce. Through brainstorming and ideation, you will develop innovative solutions.
Mentorship and Support
Throughout the hackathon, experienced mentors and industry experts will be available to guide and support you. They will provide valuable insights, feedback, and advice to help you refine your ideas and proposals.

Skill development

The hackathon is a learning experience that allows you to enhance your skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and expertise in a real-world context.

Networking Opportunities
